UKG: 950 jobs cut
UKG (formerly Ultimate Software) laid off 950 employees globally on April 15, 2025, representing 6% of its workforce. The company cited its transformation into an "AI-first company" as a driving factor for the restructuring. Many of the affected employees were from UKG's South Florida offices in Sunrise and Weston. This follows an earlier round of layoffs in late 2024 where UKG cut 14% of its workforce.
